Photography Workshops in Irvine
Workshop Overview
Shooting in the Irvine Fine Arts Center studio and other locations, my workshops are meant to provide the optimal photography experience for both photographers and models. This means that classes are limited to allow each participant the opportunity to shoot a fair share of the time, learn from “doing” rather than just studying the techniques.
The workshops are structured specifically for the type of photography, whether it’s portraiture, fashion, glamour or fine art, product photography, landscape or macro. Each class will have a post-workshop critique online of each participant’s best work. Qualifying photographers will be part of my “affilate photographer network” and eligible for paid assignments.
How To Enroll
Sign up on this blog, and add your comments to show your interest as new workshops are announced. This way you can keep up to date on workshops as they are planned. Prior students have priority over others. Alternatively, contact me directly (email address is protected by captcha.)
Workshop Cost
The class cost is based upon the number of participants, the venue and materials needed. For example, if we do a complete special effects shoot with a model who has been transformed with body paint, there would be additional costs of having the body painting artist do this work and the model who must start early to get the makeup done before shooting begins. Example: The course fee is base upon ”facility, model, makeup actual cost” + my teaching rate ($65) X 8 / # of participants. So, if the studio costs $130, makeup artist $150, model $200, $520 my rate total= $1000, divided by 6 photographers, the total cost per participant would be $166 per shooter.
